by Johnnie Muney on This place was not what I expected at all. From the name alone, I was expecting some dirty, greasy hole in the wall taco stand (which still would have been awesome). What I saw instead was a nice place with quaint booths and a large bar. From the size of the place, you can tell it was built to hold a good amount of people. It's like they knew Taco Tuesday was coming before it was even invented. The tacos themselves were amazing. Carne Asada Nick's Way was probably the best taco I have ever had in my life. Previously, that distinction went to a taco stand outside of Porky's nightclub in Tijuana, where for $1 a piece we just got a little tortilla, meat, and guac. Brilliant in its simplicity.
