I went to the Hong Kong after many years away. I should have stayed away! After being seated and given menus at least 10 minutes passed before we were given water and another 10 minutes before we were asked if we were ready to order. We ordered hot and sour soup to start. It arrived piping hot and looked promising...until we tried it. I was met with this odd sweet flavor with hot chili flake. A few more spoonfuls and I bit at least 2 big hunks of garlic. NOT good. It was brimming with tofu and straw mushrooms and looked good, but unfortunately it was mediocre at best. Next came out luncheon plates. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and pork fried rice. My rice was OK, but had a weird smoky after taste. The Shrimp with lobster sauce contained 2 shriveled shrimp and the most SALTY ( and I mean salty) lobster sauce I have ever had. It was like they emptied a salt shaker into my food., It was inedible. Hubby fared a little better with boiled rice and General Goa's chicken. The white rice was good ( I mean , how can you mess up white rice?) but the chicken was fatty and rubbery. Sad to see a place that I once frequented regularly go downhill. Maybe you need a few, or half a dozen scorpion bowls to help the food be more palatable. Suffice to say I will not be returning. Sorry Hong Kong.

Really don't know how to begin this review because everyone seems to enjoy this taco shack. I ordered the revered pescado taco and ... it just didn't "wow" me at all. It was edible, very thick breading but crunchy. The guacamole topping was average and the filling in the taco was nothing memorable. For the price of $5.50 per a taco, I got to say I had way better and fresher fish. As for the decor, that's up for you to decide.
