by Viki Fornell on Thanks to rateclub and Sloane, I entered their VIP table & bottle service contest. A couple of weeks passed (during that time) which I totally forgot about it! I checked my email one day and won the FREE VIP Table w/bottle service for me and 5 guests!! I was so excited! 1. Since i NEVER win anything and 2. I needed an excuse to dance & drink!! Friday night, my friends and I walked in about 10:30ish and were led up to our VIP table and introduced to Alfonso and the other bouncers/security. Everyone was really nice and chill. Even if it was free, they didn't seem to act like I was free-loading LOL! I love that even more. Interior: Of course Duplex had to be renovated for other reasons. This renovation went way beyond my expectations! The door was like this huge dungeon door!!! Beautiful wood grain inside and bar where the alcohol was displayed was so neat and organized! I'm a neat freak so I loved it! Bathrooms were one stall for Men and Women each but also 2 Wheelchair assessable ones as well, that was a plus. VIP area was up at the top with leather couches and black tables, also were the DJ was spinning from (or playing from itunes). Our server, Bunny, was so sweet and she kept it real. Other birthday parties were up top too and all having a good time. Overall, the place did not get too crowded or too empty. Luckily, since I was VIP, we got the special treatment so I can't judge it on the waiting in line or cover charge that the other rateclubers mentioned. I am more of the kick-back Mission type bar but when I want to get real dressed up and act like I'm in Hollywood or Miami, I'm sure to check out SLOANE and let others know about it. Thanks to the staff at Sloane once again, ya'll were great to me and my guests. And again being apart of the rateclub crew has its perks!! HOLLA!
