by Eric J. R. on Went out with Evan on Friday to another "beautiful people" spot. I think the first two drinks were $27, not $37, but who's counting when you're in a place like this. Two beers were an incredibly surprising $14! I thought the DJ sucked for a club of this calibre. Seemed to easily get through the entry ordeal (a friend knows the management) so we were on the list. It wasn't very busy for a Friday night, even when we left at 1:30 it wasn't packed. I wonder if you weren't on the list how difficult it would be to gain entry. The decor was cool, sound system fairly rocked, and there was a cool gas fireplace in a pool at the entrance / patio. Is this the A list crowd? Was that really Lindsay Lohan? I can't imagine that this is the best that the LA nightlife has to offer. Skip it and go for better music or a better crowd.
by Karole Stanbrough on Ok food, weird dancing upstairs on weekends, with one long slippery staircase covered in booze that has fallen out of plastic cups. Girls with vials full of something coming around and a lot of booty shaking going on. I heard they used to have cockfights.
