by Dorothea Trueax on --------------Tigerheat Review--------------- I find that gay clubs can be a lot of fun. The music is great, the crowd is usually energetic, and there are no worries about guys breathing down your neck. Tigerheat was a little different. They have themed nights, so the music changes often. Its best to not show up too late because after 10:00, the place gets crazy packed. Big turn off though; desperate straight men G-A-L-O-R-E! I started to seriously regret wearing my little red dress. They know that there will be a surplus of women who frequent these clubs purposely to get away from them, so they end up following them there. Other than that, tigerheat was a lot of fun. The dj was great, the go-go dancers were very entertaining, and I enjoyed the over all feel of the place. I even got complimented by a tranny! I don't drink, so unfortunately, I won't be able to comment on the bartenders and alcohol selection. Just be aware that they seriously pack the place, so getting stepped on will happen often.
by Nam Heinitz on I've been here a few times and the first time I don't remember how I got home... Great artsy vibe and atmosphere and nice open space. I'm sure the drinks were delicious. I also attended an event here with an old friend. I didn't care for the crowd there that evening but at least I was with good company. Decent place to host an event but felt bad getting rowdy at an art gallery.
by Nicole P. on I went here for a business dinner in March without any real expectations. If I had to describe it in a single word, I'd go with "pretentious". The patrons seemed as if they were there to see and be seen, and the staff all seemed to think themselves terribly important, which is generally not why I go out to dinner. I work in the cookware industry, and I believe we were treated exceptionally well because of it. The lamb was good, and all sides tried were very good - sweet corn pudding, parmesan truffle fries, and creamed spinach. The atmosphere just kind of killed it for me.
