by Derek Steffey on So I went here for my cousins birthday on a saturday night and had a lot of fun, but I would definitely not recommend going here for dinner. The menu is not that big so there isn't much to choose from. It is also quite expensive and the portions are very small. I ordered a caesar salad which no one even knew what it was when it came out. I also ordered the chicken pasta which reminded me of mac n' cheese. 25 dollars later I was still hungry. Definitely go to the in n out across the parking lot. The lounge itself is nice though. We had our own little private cabana outside for our party with bottle service and our own personal bartender. Very nice touch. Just a warning all the guys that seem to go there are very short. Drink milk people!
by Leopoldo Teachout on This place can be fun if you go on the right time. Sometimes there are alot of asian people in the club, however, the people are generally mixed. The drinks in there can be intense. Drink a couple of LC and you will sure to have some fun!
by Scott A. on This place blows about as much as any place could. They have no idea how to run a concert venue. The security here is incredibly dumb and unprofessional. They will take any opportunity to power trip and play velvet rope games, even if people are just trying to get in to see a concert they have paid Ticketmaster (may it rot as well) good money to see. They did not let my friends and I into the Old 97s concert because we complained and argued a little about their handling of the line (no foul or abusive language was used and we were not physically confrontational), which involved much of the aforementioned power tripping and dance club velvet rope b.s. as well as extreme slowness and inefficiency. Isn't the idea to get people inside and buying drinks? Unfortunately the losers working the door were too braindead to get the point, much less to do anything about it. I have been to dozens of concerts at venues of all sizes and have never heard of anything like this, nor had my friends who were with me, nor have the many people we have told about what happened. I didn't know anything about this place before trying to go to the concert but in reading later I found some poor young kid was tragically shot to death here in January. I don't know if this is what the New York Crash Mansion or the Bowery Restaurant Group, who the article lists as the owners, are about, but under its current management (I believe the general manager and the one in charge the night I was there is some little French dude with a Napoleon complex named Christophe) the Crash Mansion is gaining an awful reputation in LA that is only likely to get worse.
