by Andy Z. on I have no clue what I ate, but for $6 you aren't going to get a better deal. Ok, I do sort of know... lamb, some sort of beef stew, and this fried beef thingy. The rice was plentiful, the hot sauce was hot, and the food was super tasty. Very much a mom and pop restaurant, where the folks behind the counter were very helpful in explaining the different options. Really this is the perfect hole in the wall. Don't go here for fine dining, go here for delicious food in copious quantities, at a ridiculously good price.
by Lance Madera on UPDATE 2/21/07: I went here saturday night for versus. i liked this club a lot better now that it was more clubby and dancingy. not that it was bad the other nite. but i am a club dancy person. This club is bigger than it looks! Two dance floor/bars. There are plenty of places to sit to chat or if you're tired. The bathrooms are bad. Hardly any stalls and i felt bad for the guys because they just have a row of urinals with no door. Girls were using these (somehow) because they couldnt wait any longer in line for the stall. Bathrooms were pretty clean tho. Hey maybe that was the mens room. lol. anyways there are 2 bathrooms downstairs. The back room had hip hop, but not extremely hard hip hop, and dancers, and the front room had a mix of 80s and old house pop type music. not great music, but the usual generic club type music (i love house and anything else to me is generic whatever music). Its a girl club, so mostly girls, some guys mixed in. Cover is $5 before 11 and $10 after. I believe it is open till 2 but i left early to go to another club. It was medium full. I'll write another update after i go to hotpants on friday. oh and ps my friend said that the beers were really expensive. i didnt drink but the drink drinks looked http://tiny.itwas fun. OLD REVIEW, 2/5/07:I went here for the first time sat nite for the chez badunkadunk night. This was upstairs, and cost $10. it was a pretty small room, and we all sat down and watched strippers on a pole. Most of the strippers were cute, a couple were very cute. But you cant walk around or talk or anything, you just watch the strippers, which gets boring after a couple hrs. Downstairs there would have been dancing but NO ONE (not one person) was there. I really want to come back for hot pants one night. So, go to the stripper night, but have something else to do as well cuz you cant stay forever. Lots of guys there too watching the girls. Oh and the bathroom was so nice and big and actually CLEAN! Wow!
