by Matthew H. on The absolute best part of this venue is its location: you are only a brief walk away from the awesomeness that is 6th Street at night. However, when I pre-party before a show (a.k.a. drinking a 40 out of a brown paper bag in the alley) I feel right at home with all the locals in this neighborhood. Nonetheless, I've seen a few good shows here and enjoyed a few good DJs. David Cross, Tapes n' Tapes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Miss Kitten, the National, Extra Action Marching Band, etc. The venue isn't horrible - the acoustics are ok, the interior is ok, but somehow I can't get excited about seeing a show here.
