by pat l. on 1st place we hit on our tour of places participating in Rateclub Drinks Week around the Mission. We went in hungry and left totally satisfied. I got "On the Skizz" cocktail, strong and sour- and a solid amount of food. We split broccoli rabe salad- butternut risotto- rosemary toast + 3 sauces- and fried buratta cheese. I wouldn't call any of them the best I've ever had, but they all impressed. It's a converted warehouse space and the lighting and layout is very cool. We weren't there long enough for the jazz show but the experience tempted me to stay. Loved the old school funk music. Very lively, but comfortable without offensive noise. Bruce, the owner was super nice to us when he came to visit our table, and they ran out the door to catch me when I forgot my phone. This place makes a lot of effort and it's a winner.
by Refugio Munari on This is a place where you go for the music. The Bridge on Saturday nights plays some good beats that will make you think hey, maybe hip hop is not dead. Anyways, good music. We get here usually around 11pm & there is never a line. Entrance, from what I can remember, ranges from $5-$10. And to tell you the truth, I think $10 is too much for this place. The decor is whatever. Diverse and laid back crowd. Typical drink prices. It can get packed btw! The smoking patio is outside on the sidewalk, literally. So, thats kind of EH. That's it and all you'll need to know is that you'll def love the music.
