by Kris J. on Okay, I'll admit...I was mostly excited to try Woodfire Grill after Kevin's great run on Top Chef (who wouldn't being dying to try food from the kitchen of a man with a pig tattoo?!). Woodfire Grill did not disappoint. The ambiance was perfect. The food, though pricey, was excellent. My first course salad and second course scallop were both well balanced, the highlight for me was definitely my main course beef strip lion with creamed brussel sprouts - absolutely delicious. My selections were from the a la carte menu, which is updated daily. There is also a 5-course blind tasting option for $65. This option does require full party participation, so make sure to bring along your most adventurous eating friends.
by Leonie Snerling on One of my absolute favorite places to see a band. It's intimate, decent drinks & food. The bar looks like the one in the movie The Shining. Very cool! Some of the best bands and solo artists have come through here.
