We had a large group of friends roll into town and decided to grab drinks somewhere new. Intrigued by a sign that said in bold letters, "Cocktail," we quickly agreed this was a good spot to hit up. Upon entering what seemed to be only a bar, we were impressed by the velvet wallpaper; tacky and dive-y, but exactly what we were looking for. You can order pitchers, play pool in the back. A good time was had by all. We then found out this place was also an Ethiopian food restaurant. I was hesitant to eat here merely because it seemed to be mainly a bar, but one night a group of us came back. I was impressed. Solid portions and everything tasted great. I will agree with other posters service for food is not their strong point. But if you are kicking back, drinkin some pitchers, and aren't in a rush, this is the perfect place to get dinner.

They have some of the best Micheladas in town! Nice and spicey and if you get there early enough the two-beer glasses they come in will be frosty. We had the double pepperoni which was nice and delicious. Thin crust with just enough grease and lots of pepp! I had the brownie and ice cream for dessert. The brownie was a little dry, but the ice cream was good and creamy. The only con to this place is that it's across the street from Hoover's and Vivo which are also fantastic restaurants. Also, I'd like them to work on the fly issue. Bags of water usually do the trick, guys.

Very attractive space - love the decor, especially the combination of the dark wood, white linens, all those pillar candles, and the dramatic red chandeliers. Drinks were delicious and strong (and pricey), and the bartenders very attentive, which I liked. But the crowd.... meh. Too stuffy and pretentious for my taste. I can see the appeal, but it's not my kind of place.
