by Kirstan R. on Went for brunch with my fave Realtor on Easter Sunday. Got there early to avoid the crowds (around 11) and it was nearly empty. By the time we left it was about half full, mostly post church crowds. Ordered the chile relleno plate which inexplicably came with an enchilada. Didn't much matter, both were tasteless, as were the rice and beans that also accompany the dish. The salsa that comes with the free chips is good enough and they throw in black bean dip for free, I just wish it tasted better. Esp for the price, the cheapest thing on the menu might be 13 dollar quesadillas... (Are you serious?!?!) So why the two stars? Simple, the service is extremely fast and attentive. Our food came out in minutes and two sips before the end of your mimosa or bloody mary, another magically arrived at the table. "Ma'am your drink has a low jack on it" is the only possible explanation.

If the Boston Aquarium was 1 star (penguins, one old turtle), and the Monterey Aquarium was 3 stars (jellyfish, otters, schools, sea lions on view outside), then indeed the GA aquarium was 5 stars for whale sharks on view from a glass tunnel you walk through, otters, penguins etc etc etc. So so so good. And well organized by climates-- i.e. tropical vs polar. And what a great respite from the GA heat. No aquarium will compare.
