by Liliana Glaspy on I live too far to venture here very often. In fact, this is the first time I have been here in about....oh....10 years. After the Little 5 Halloween Parade the Star Bar had a band playing outside and a DJ inside. There was a huge crowd at the outside band, but since the parking lot is also huge, it was perfect! After enjoying the fun outside (and the super cheap PBRs) we wandered in to shake our booties a bit. Such a good time! I will have to go back soon!
by Regan Calvi on yup... I dig it... and I'm going back again and again.. brought out of town friends here for their opening and the food was yummy and the decor charming. Service was a bit lacking and their selection of vodka is dismal - hence the 3 stars - but I'll give the cocktails a try and am blaming the bad service on it being their first night.

I don't quite understand the allure of people waiting an hour just to get in to this place but its not bad if you're in a pinch for a place to dance in the highlands. Its worth noting that I went for a disco night and they didn't play much disco at all and if you're not a fan of second hand smoke, you might want to skip this place. It gets pretty gross in there.
