by Rissa M. on I've been here twice now and I've found that there are some excellent dishes and some not so great dishes. Their chicken and beef dishes are wonderfully spiced and the meats have great flavor. Their queso is pretty substandard and bland. Their meats (i.e., chicken breasts) are overcooked usually, resulting in dry entrees. I like the flavor of their salsa but it is pretty weak on the spice front.
by Maxine Amante on Just another example how sad the sandwich situation is here in Austin that Jimmy John's gets four and fives. It is perfectly fine for fast food -- I would choose it over Subway sure, but come on people, let's get real. The sandwiches are lacking in both flavor and quantity of meat, the bread is industrial strength bland, and the choices are national-chain dumbed down. They do deliver, and quickly, but that fact alone does not warrant a top rating.
