Came here for dineLA with Joanna P. We had reservations at 6 pm, but apparently we're the only people in LA who actually arrive on time because we were the only people in the restaurant... They literally just dimmed the lights because we walked in. Service was fine, nothing exceptional but definitely nothing to complain about. Our food: Tuna Tartar & Butternut Squash Bisque. Both delicious. The bisque is basically Thanksgiving in a bowl! Lobster Ravioli, Hangar Steak & Truffle Mac and Cheese. All great. Truffle Mac and Cheese was beyond delicious...I can eat it ALL day and I usually hate Mac and Cheese. I'm so willing to go again just for the Truffle Mac and Cheese. It was great comfort food (expensive but still comfort food)!

I stopped by the Midtown on Sunday afternoon mostly to escape the rain partially out of curiosity. My friend and I were actually headed to Devils Alley for brunch when the sky opened up and unleashed there fury. The Midtown was closer so we hoped in there to warm up and get something to eat. The Decor is great very quirky and trendy but fun at the same time. I feel bad for the waitresses though the uniforms are horrible almost like car hops without the skates. I ordered a burger which was fantastic and my friend got the lobster mac and cheese which was very good. I also tried the bacon infused bloody Mary which sounds scary but was amazing. It didn't seem like that had a very extensive menu for that hour of the day but I liked what I ordered so oh well. Our service was good nothing over the top amazing but decent. all in all it was a OK experience.

This place is an undiscovered BRUNCH gem. I live for outdoor dining on a sunny Sunday morning, but there are not that many places with outdoor dining in my neighborhood. As for Brunch, it was fantastic. I got the pesto omelet with fresh fruit. The fruit was not your normal melons and grapes. It was organic peaches, pineapple and kumquat (i think). I had a mimosa but they had a bloody mary bar that looked great. All in all, service was good, food good, and outdoor dining good. I will be coming back fo sho.
