by Vernon Fuelling on Awesome food, great soups, great drinks.... Bartenders on sat night are awesome.... I love this place, cant really say anything bad about it.... It can get a bit packed but its far enough from rittenhouse and you may occasionally get some douchers from mcfaddens but everyones there to have a good time... Sat nights are banging. My favorite bartenders in the city Its also good to go get a meal or whatever and relax any night of the week..... The food is always good

She apologized when she wasn't able to take our order after 5 minutes in a packed house on a weekend lunch. The service here was top notch. The Food Though I'm giving this place 3 stars, I will hopefully be giving it 5 stars soon. I started off with the Krispy Creme donut shake. Wow, I have never in my life had such a rich milkshake. Unfortunaltely it really was not very good (note, I drank it all). My fellow eater noted that it tasted as if someone threw butter in it. However this did not deter me because my almighty veal burger was on it's way. The Burger was just OK to tell you the truth. Though I have never tried a veal burger before, and I imagine I was expecting something a little different. It didn't seem to jive with the other elements in the dish, namely the BBQ chicken on top. I'm not sure if that was an accident (the BBQ) or not, but it just didn't seem right. The good The Sweetbread app (delicious), the tempura onion rings, and fries. The reason I gave this place such a good rating is because of its ambitious menu and the great service. Yes I didn't enjoy my dish, however my fellow patrons loved what they had. I think I will have to come back and try something else because this place seems to have major potential. Lastly, the design of this place is very cool/ hip and very original. A follow up is coming...
by Raymond Chais on It is what it is, and that's is A-OK. Drinks are cheap and the music is always predictably African/house dance mix. Be warned: It's a dinky place, you will sweat and one way or another you will get someone else's sweat on you. DOnt like that- save your five bucks and go to everywhere else (where no one really dances). Did I mention teh drink are cheap and the music predictable? It's a good things as Martha would say! and NO, I'm not looking at you, Beauty Bar. You're the same, but just shittier cause no one can ever move and... and I'm just not that into you!
