Started here for a friend's birthday party, but left quickly My friend had a table, and everyone was already inside. We got there a little later, figured we'd get in line for the guestlist and we'd make it right on time. We were a group of 5 (2 girls and 3 boys) to meet a group of 30 inside! All 5 bouncers were preoccupied with the people in the bottle service line, funny that line barely moved as well. Finally a girlfriend came out and got me and the girl with me comp tickets, so the girls were taken care of. Now we had to get the 3 guys in. Those 3 guys finally got to the front of the line stood there for a good 15 minutes. It was ridiculous because the bouncer was trying to get the attention of THE MAN IN THE SILVER SUIT. who is the big boss, for 10 minutes. Just to tell him that these 3 guys need to get in. Another friend comes out to bug the bouncer to get theres 3 guys in. and Another friend comes out. At this point, they had bought 2 bottles inside and that alone should justify being able to bring these 3 in. After more struggling, they finally let the 3 guys in, and they still had to pay $10. That entire process ruined the entire night, and we didn't stay long. Note that the shots are tiny and in plastic cups and the drinks are watered down. And to top it off, some stranger slapped my ass while I was on my way out.... not down for that kind of bizniss

what a cool spot, i had an out of town guest and we wanted to see some live music. drove around the block and through the 'murder kroeger' parking lot like 3 times looking for 'the drunken unicorn' to catch live music. while we were trying to find it, the pizza shop in this same building told us about mjq, and that it was THE spot. after getting quickly bored in the much smaller drunken unicorn (will review next), we spent the $5 cover to get into mjq (how cheap!) $2 pbrs and the dj was pretty great (pic posted). this is a late night space, i don't even think they open until midnight. good vibe, great time.
