80,000 sq ft. This whole foods is the size of a walmart. They have everything, and anything that you could ever want in a whole foods. Its a must see for any WF lover who comes to the Austin area.

Its in the middle of nowhere... If you want to leave and go somewhere else (which if you're anything like me, I'm sure you will) good luck getting a cab unless someone happens to be getting dropped off at the same exact time you're leaving... and good luck waiting for a Yellow Cab if you call them (see Yellow Cab review). The space is cool enough... if only there were people there. I was there on a Saturday night and it was mostly empty. It was mostly guys so, if thats not your thing this is not your place. But, most of all the reviews here are very positive so maybe I'm missing something. Of course, one thing I hate is when pretty much every review is by an "elite" who is posting about how great the place was during an "elite" event... Of course its great during an elite event because the elite events are going to make any place better... I could have an elite event in my basement and it would go off... I want to know what you think on a normal night! And, on my normal night... it was not great. **** UPDATE 4/13/08*** One of my complaints last time was that the place was empty. Well, this time the place with packed. But, not in a good way. B&T up the wazooooo. And the event I went to had a "VIP" ticket option that allowed for "no line" entry and "open bar all night." Well, turns out A.) There was nobody in line to begin with and B.) The "Open Bar" is only for basic crapy drinks. When I ordered something as simple as a Kettle One and Soda the bartender gave me nothing but crap when I showed her my "VIP" badge. The girl had the worst attitude I've ever experienced at any bar. Refused to give me the Kettle One drink and informed me the "VIP badge was only for the crappy drinks. And as far as the neighborhood is concerned... I will never go back. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a cab. I mentioned this in my earlier review, but I happen to get lucky and get a cab right away on my first visit. Well this time I got what is the true Mighty cab experience. Dozens of people fighting to get the ONE cab that may drive by every 20 minutes. Never going back again.

The sign outside this mission club is right on... "el Rio, your neighborhood dive." Their drinks are strong, the patio is spacious, and they've got a range of music depending on when/what day you go... A warning... keep an eye on your drink at this place...
