by kissyfit m. on This use to be one of my fav gay bars in SF. I still like it but, they close the patios too early! 10pm.. I think cause of the complaints they got from neighbors. I miss the contortion shows they had on the weekends.. They have a friendly staff, pool tables, good crowd... And popcorn, which i love.
by Vennie Strehl on Have you ever eaten dinner inside of a whale skeleton? Well neither have I, but looking up at the architecture while munching on chicken wings and spare ribs, I'm sure that was the inspiration. I don't know what's up with all the 2 and 3 star reviews. I honestly think that the food here was better than any other Chinese food I've ever had. EVER. And I've eaten Chinese food a couple times a month since I could masticate. The service was impeccable. The food came out hot and fast. The drinks where not expensive and were well made. Their menu features a guided meditation on the front under the How to Order section saying, "Sit back, relax, breathe..." etc. That was actually as far as I got because i was so excited to read the 16 pages of awesome. And to cap it off, they gave us nifty cards with traditional red envelopes and a real silver dollars for Chinese New Year! Not to mention cherry, chocolate and coconut flavored fortune cookies. It's the year of the Tiger. Meow
