Its actually embarrassing to write a review for the place because that would mean I was actually there..... but..... the club was so bad i'll live with the embarrassment just so I can give this place one freakin star..... Probably THE wackest club i've been to ... EVER Can you even call the place a nightclub? Shouldn't there be a size requirement of at least 3000 sq ft.. or... something? "California girls" night so most of the girls came wearing daisy dukes..guess I never got the memo Pimply boys and girls all over the place.. 6 out of 10 had braces.. really bad dancing.. and please do not get me started on the photographers... I checked online the next day... and lets just say.. Fire them.. or buy them better cameras

Believe the hype. I took my BF to Zahav last night for his birthday.  I had to keep the destination a secret because he's the type to run for the hills at mention of an "exotic" cuisine.  I think he's now a convert.  Gastronomically, at least. It was really a wonderful meal, and I have little to no complaints.  First and foremost, I'd like to commend the service.  When we go to a nice restaurant we like to have a cocktail before we even look at the menu.  It's crazy how many places hound you to put in your order.  I mean, I get that you want to flip the table, but if I'm shelling out a lot of dough for a meal, I'm going to take my time.  Once we told our waitress our cocktail drill, she left us alone and didn't come over until we gave her 'the look.'  Add one star. Oh, and about those cocktails.  The lemon cocktail was delicious.  Like really, really yum.  Lemonade and bourbon--who knew?  Add another star. We each got the $36 Pick one from each column + hummus and salatim combo.  This was really a great way to taste a lot of the stuff on the menu.  The plates are all small, tapas-sized, but even so by the time the last two plates came out, it was a struggle. To start the meal, the salads were ROCKING.  Eight salads come on this fun little carry cart and it was so so yum.  The beet salad!  The twice cooked eggplant!  The cucumber and tomato!  The spiced pears!  The taboule!!!  Throw another star up there. Here goes our top three plates (well four bc we disagreed on one), in no particular order:  The crispy haloumi (cheese!) served with date jam(?) and pine nuts.  MmMMmm.  The kibbe naya, which was raw ground lamb spiced the heck up with deliciousness.  Raw might freak people out, but I went with it.  The only minor complaint was that it kind of looked like cat food.  But such tasty cat food it was.  The lamb tenderloin rounded out my top three, tender morsels served over saffron rice.  The swordfish rocked BF's world, served over a grain resembling lentils and pickled green beans.  Man, this was an epic meal.  We were so stuffed by the time we finished that we split dessert--a roasted half of a peach, piece of baklava, and white chocolate panna cotta.  Perfect ending to an amazing meal.  Show us, One More Star. And finally, after one lemon cocktail and two very generous glasses of wine, I miss calculated on the check and carried a one where one should not have been carried and instead of ringing me up for an extra ten bucks and pocketting it, the waitress flagged me down to correct it.  I was very impressed. That's right.  Star number five. Get thee to Zahav.  Now.

Been there, done that, don't have to go back. I was really looking forward to the opening of Slide. I had heard about it for what seemed an eternity and had high expectations. I suppose it looks nice, but not any better than a bar at the Marriot. One extra star for the ladies room - its nice.
