by Kathleen T. on I always have fun here. I was there this weekend and I also celebrated my birthday there earlier this year. I can never seem to make the guest list, but we somehow get in and we have a blast.
by Usha Schleibaum on Even though I had to pay a $20 cover plus $3 coat check at this place, I will definitely come back. Why? Because they gave me two "Admit 1" cards to get in free. If it's not free or at the most a $10 cover, I'm not going. I am a female, I shouldn't have to pay to get into a club. What the heck?! I'm sure the guys wouldn't complain about that either. But you know, what I did pay. I paid only because a friend of mine was celebrating a birthday and he, and his girl, wanted to try the place out. And they were from Guadalupe and wanted to experience Caribbean Night at the nightclub. Anyways, DJ Mr. Cee was there and I hate it when djs keep talking and messing up my "flow". But the music he was playing was good and the place was crowded and it wasn't bad. I really enjoyed myself and I'm not a big clubgoer.
by Nancey Deraney on This is my favorite Italian place in Atlanta. Food: Delicious! As it should be their signature dish the Alfredo is yummy. I usually get an appetizer plate of this. I tend to go with one of the specials for my meal. They'll mix and match things up for you as well i.e. lobster ravioli with a different sauce than the one that came with it. Whatever you do- do not eat the weird pickle things the put down for you to nibble on!! Atmosphere: It can get a little noisy on the weekends go on a weeknight. Place looks like a dump on the outside. The inside is super dated - but I think that's part of the ummm charm. You walk in and it is full of tables of old Italian men Look like they are total Mafioso. The vinyl booths - they put these in when the place was established 34 years ago and never upgraded. Cheap fish tank in the entry way...for some reason though everything works! Service: Old school service here. Attentive without hovering. The waiters have been here for years. We're talking like 20 years. Pretty no-nonsense. They like the ladies though! Booze: The wine... here's where I have not gotten it right. Don't go with the house carafe of red wine. Just plain old watery table wine. Dig deep on their wine menu. Summation - great service, great atmosphere, good food. Go and enjoy!
