by Kookie K. on Upscale cozy! A true gem in San Francisco. Probably the most normal lounge I've been to here, and I mean that in a great way. The rich wooden walls, brown leather armchairs and cozy nooks are like being in a wealthy older person's house. But a cool older wealthy person. We hosted a party here and had the game room all to ourselves. I am so glad there are sliding doors because we were certainly enjoying ourselves and maybe ruining whatever hushed, sophisticated dates were going on outside. The service was fantastically attentive and unobtrusive, keeping drinks in our hands and going above and beyond by providing serving plates for my birthday cupcakes. Ladies, I must caveat that if you live or park anywhere south of the venue and you are rocking some heels, make sure you have a change of shoes or someone not wearing heels to cling on to. The southbound hill is a big no no for high heel wearing!
by Kelly W. on I went here last night with my boyfriend (who is from El Salvador) and we both really liked the food. We had the Carne Asada and the drinks (especially the Cadillac Margaritas) are really STRONG!!! The restaurant/night club is a lot smaller than we expected but we didn't have any problems getting a table. I'm not sure about the weekends though. Thursday night is Karaoke night (which I'm not a fan of Karaoke) but there were some good singers. Still, there were not a lot of people dancing. We started dancing after almost everyone left. It's not a fancy restaurant at all, but people get dressed up to go here. I'll have to check out the other music that they have here before I can give five stars, but I recommend this place for the good food and a relaxing atmosphere.
