I am also shocked at the bad reviews below, as I have had nothing but good times at this place. I have ordered curry both times I have gone and it has been excellent, a large bowl with rice for 9.95!!! Good price! I have also sampled just about all of the sashimi and a few of the rolls and all have been good, especially the red snapper that I got the last time. The service has been very good, everyone was very friendly. I really like the decor and location, I really have no complaints about anything here. Good Thai and Sushi for a great price. Hard to beat.

For our first night out in Atlanta, Halo was not the ideal lounge to visit. I relied on the posted reviews for a trendy, popular spot to hit on an early Monday night. Between the hours of 2000-2230, Halo lacked a DJ, drink specials, and a crowd. I am sure that the Monday night reviews of Halo were based on a time past 2230, but in that case the it should be considered a *club*. We lucked out on a street parking spot otherwise the valet would not have been worth it. On the bright side, the bartenders were friendly and prompt taking our drink orders since the place was slow. FACTS: *Average drink price/person = $7.50 *No cover on Mon. from 2000-2230 *HALO is located on the Right-side (Your Left) of the Baltimore. *The lounge's entrance sign consists of an incomplete slanted circle. *Limited street parking.

So my friend and I usually stay very clear of the Hollywood club scene because I hate the attitude and standing in line. But we really wanted to go dancing so we decided to suck it up and give it a shot. One word to explain our night at LAX is LAME! The club was totally empty at first. After a little while it started to fill up a bit, but the crowd was really nothing spectacular. Although I hate the Hollywood pretension as much as anyone else, I also expect that when a club has some hype like LAX does the crowd will be young and attractive. Not so much, at least on that night. Also, the place is tiny, the dance floor is even smaller and the decor is basically all concrete and black couches. I do have to say the bartenders were friendly, as were most of the crowd there. If you want a good scene though and great dancing I would probably venture someplace else.
