Ehh. That's what I would use to describe the entire experience at Bobby's Burger Palace. While all of the burgers on the board sounded very tasty, I ultimately decided for the Dallas burger, hold the coleslaw. A nice touch was having a replica of the giant wall menu in front of the register, so you didn't have to break your neck if you needed some reference. After sitting for about 10 minutes (if that) our food was here. My fries came out first inside of a cool little metal pot on a place, so I expected some similarly nice plating for the burger. WRONG. Just a burger on a plate. But you can't judge a book by it's cover, right? Partially true. While the disheveled burger looked like it had seen better days, it tasted pretty good, even if it was a little on the bloody side. My favorite part of the meal was the sauces. The burger may have cost me $7.50, but I could use as much as the sauces as I'd like. Overall, my favorite was the burger sauce with it's dark, sweet, molasses like taste with some tang. It also looks pretty interesting in there, the design is kind of funky, kind of fresh, but comfortable altogether. Overall, I would say that I can't believe people waited in such long lines for this place, it was good, but nowhere near great. Give it a try if you'd like gourmet-ish burgers. Otherwise, I prefer the burger at Noddinghead :)

Worst fkn club experience ever...went to a premier event for a good cause at the MOCA Bohemian Bash and silent auction on Saturday, February 20, 2010 where tickets cost $175 per person. Black wristbands were handed to every attendee upon arrival for an afterparty event guaranteeing admission to club Set on Sobe. Arrived to Set with four fellow attendees from the exclusive MOCA event, and the doormen/security monkeys were beyond obnoxious and rude. They would not honor the bands and would not even give us basic information. Apparently this place is a waste of time and should be avoided til they go out of business.
