by Brad L. on This place is a joke and easily the worst club/bar on Lansdowne. To quote a previous post "Trust the rateclubs stars on this one guys", definitely good advice. This place is just pure disappointment. The club apparently has some sort of a dress code, for I've seen and have experienced not being let in by the bouncers due to my attire, which is normal college kid attire - shirt, jeans/shorts and shoes during the summer and jacket, jeans, boots during the winter. So I'm thinkin this place might be a fancier place considering the bouncers not letting me in the last time because I wasn't dressed up enough. Boy was I wrong. The next time I decided to try this place I dressed up a bit and to my utter disappointment, the place was rather dumpy and definitely doesn't justify the bouncers not letting people in because they aren't "dressed up enough". That's the last I'll ever bother with this s*** hole. Anyways, if you're a college kid in Boston and like the Fenway bars, pretty much all of them are fun and reasonable except this place. STEER CLEAR. Like I said at the beginning of the post and as another user said, "trust the rateclubs stars".
by Angela H. on This place seems cooler than it is. Bohemian Circus. Seemed amazing. Was good. Nothing out of the oridanry. Quite reminiscent of a Panic at the Disco! video, but with better music. All the hot poeple were attached. Leaving me nobody to make out with,. When inebriated. It's 320am. And I'm already home. I'm sovbering up. On Honey Dijon Kettle Chips and Village Market Pizza. And water. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Okay,. I'm tryiong to sober up. At least the bartender was giving me free drinks. They almost deserve an extra star or two for that. ALMOST.

Such a waste of a great space..the rooftop terrace has a great view but neither the space nor the decent (only decent...not great) food is enough to keep me coming back to be treated like crap and yelled at....literally. Dear Mr. Waiter at the rooftop...when asked if you have a wine and drink list and the dry response "You're looking at it" is given...that's slightly rude (I'm being nice here). You're not funny. And when asked what you recommend and a short "everything" is given...that doesn't help. But thanks for trying...or not. Dear Mr. Manager, Mr. Regulator..whoever you are..."angry middle class and white guy" (Are you Ben's inspiration....to make fun of you?) if you want people to come back ...please don't shout at them like little idiots. Maybe it's just me but the words "GET OUT" are probably not the best words to use in the hospitality industry. Do you need a dictionary to define "hospitality"? Do you even know what a dictionary is? Next time a simple "I'm sorry but we will be closing the mezzanine" will suffice. You don't even have to say it with a smile. I'll come back to this space again...when Medjool shuts down and a new business is up....with a complete change of staff and management.
