Very nice atmosphere - selective crowd, which is always a good thing weeding out...on top of the W Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. Always something going on at that place! Love the outdoor cabana/pool at night and music pumping. Beware, always a surprise pop-up at Drais. For the pretty and young

The Unofficial Guide for First Time Visitors to Sunday Brunch: [in no particular order] -If you're coming with 4+ people, either reserve your table 1-2 days before [No Same Day Reservations here] or come at least 30 early.. and when you do arrive, make sure your whole party is there.. the section on the left of the entrance is the waiting area otherwise. -Parking in the Castro is more miss than it is hit, sometimes there will be a flat rate parking $10 right across the street by the funeral home [Not bad if you split between 4ppl].. otherwise, you should give yourself 15minutes for parking alone. -It usually gets into full swing around 1PM, so if you want to be in the middle of all the madness, get a table by 12PM. -When we say brunch, we don't mean tea and crumpets accompanied by friendly debates whilst Bethoven hums in the background.. We mean STEAK and potatoes and real breakfast food for your hungover ass accompanied by juicy gossip about the night before and the occasional lapdance and/or catwalking/voguing whilst booty[and body] movin top40s/dance tracks thump in the background. -The only reason why you would want to pace your bottomless mimosas: 2 Unisex stalls, and probably a consistent 2 people ahead of you in the lines for 'em -Truth be told: Lime's delivery through ambiance and service far exceeds their food. You're not going to get the best tasting serving of what you ordered... but walking into a modern pink and white clad establishment with a bar rolled out to about the whole left side and almost every patron w/ a mimosa in hand, is that what you're REALLY expecting? -Tip their bartenders / servers!! Check out their pouring arms when you go, when they say bottomless mimosas they mean it, none of that just-so-happen-to-miss-your-empty-glass-20-times type of crap here -Sharing is caring; the waiting area can get a bit packed for brunch.. don't get pissy if someone is sitting a few inches from you, that's a total Debbie tantrum and I doubt you'd ever recover starting off on that bad note anyhow.. Get some fresh air for a bit if need be! These are just a few starting pointers, hopefully it will suffice for your first journey to into the most energy-filled Sunday brunch that is Lime.. in which I'm sure will not be your last.

Seems like Bruno's has become one of the go-to spots in the Mission for a couple of groups of my friends. It's not my favorite place or preferred scene, but the place hits the spot if you can stomach Top 40 hits and a crowded bar of fresh graduates who come here because it's like a mix between a college scene and a real bar. It's even segregated! The front area is like a real bar, except for the music, complete with stools and mirrors and cocktails poured into real glasses. The back area, on the other hand, is the equivalent of the 'kiddie table' where the music caters to the younger bump n' grind crew and the drinks are served in tiny plastic cups. By the end of the night, the distinction is pretty damn clear. Everyone in the front stands around screaming conversations, sometimes making a quick foray into the sweaty back area for a quick humpty dance, while the back feels like the dirty club it's trying to mimic. On a positive note I'm always here with a great group of friends, and since it's the Mission I don't have to dress like a Marina douche.
