Pretty cool. $12 admission. Best on a clear night so you can see stars and the space station and planets. Kinda weird that a educational institution sells booze and plays house music but whatever draws a crowd, ya know?

I decided to give Cafe Lift a try for Sunday Brunch because of it's great reviews on here.. I'll tell you.. I was NOT disappointed at ALL! Thanks to the info about the red arrow out front that says: "Cafe" it was pretty easy to find. I actually ended up parking by Cafe Lift's Bar the Taproom which is right up the street with a similar sign that says, "Bar". When you walk into Cafe Lift the first thing you encounter are the fantastic smells, followed by the industrial appearance and the steps in front of you (actually on a lift, but i'm guessing it is not in working order) leading up to the restaurant floor. In front of you to the left on a column is a hanging clip board where you sign in with your name and the size of your party. They give you a disclaimer about how, due to the small amount of seating space they can not promise larger parties will be seated together, but may be split up into smaller groups. As a first time customer, i was unsure of the seating procedure.. so I walked up to the service bar and asked one of the girls behind the counter what the appropriate procedure was. She very politely pointed out the sign-in sheet and asked how large my party was, then pointed to an empty table and informed me that we could take a seat at that table. The Daily specials are written on two chalk boards and there is also a regular menu that was brought to us by the waitress. I ended up choosing the Huevos Rancheros, and sharing the Cannoli French Toast with the rest of my party. WOW! The Huevos Rancheros was pretty phenomenal! "Toasted corn tortillas topped with refried beans, roasted red peppers, chorizo, jack cheese, 2 fried eggs, and pico de gallo" It came with spiced potatoes, sour cream and perfectly spicy and thick hot sauce. The combinations in this dish were matched perfectly and the two sunny side up eggs on top were cooked just right. The Cannoli French Toast was incredible as well... "Challah bread dredged in a cinnamon vanilla custard, topped with bananas, chocolate chips, pistachios and homemade ricotta canolli filling". It was a little much after eating the hearty Huevos but definitely worth splitting with others. Definitely a perfect choice if you're feeling the urge to feed your sweet tooth. The waitress was attentive, especially for a busy Sunday brunch and had great suggestions. I was with a vegetarian friend who asked about menu items being made without the meat and she suggested the Prosciutto Frittata Special minus the Prosciutto, and informed my friend that everything was made to order and there was no problem changing ANY of the dishes. She decided on the suggestion from the waitress and gave it a huge smile and nod when I asked her how it was. Another friend got the Eggs Florentine Special, and also gave a big "hell yeah" when I asked about her dish. All in all, the meal was great! The service was good and the pricing was appropriate for the food being served. I will definitely be going back again to try more of their wonderful breakfast concoctions! **They do not accept credit cards, but they do have an ATM right near the waiting area if you forget cash!** I HIGHLY suggest visiting this little gem the next time you have a free morning and a hungry belly!
