by Olin Razze on Of the literally 200+ times I have been to a SF club, my experience in front of Manor West last night was one of the WORST I've ever had. YOU WILL WAIT IN LINE TO BE TOLD YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ON THE GUEST LIST AND!!! THAT THE PROOF YOU HAVE OF SIGNING UP IS IRRELEVANT (Read Facebook on the Iphone.) I would understand if we were the only group this happened to. I also would not be taking my time to rateclubs about this had the attitude of the establishment been anything other than f*** you and too bad this was a MAJOR inconvenience for your entire party. But with about 20 other well dressed, attractive people(mostly female) also standing around in disbelief that the same thing happened to them, I'm taking the time in the hope that you can avoid having a similar experience. THE FACTS: 1. Even though each of the girls and guy in my party individually signed up for the guestlist on Facebook, we were told we were not. 2. Four attractive single girls next to us were also told they were not on the list and would not be allowed in. 3. A friend who "was" on the guestlist with +4 was told he was +0. 4. Even our cab driver on the way back had some "good" stories for Manor West. 5. Manor West is BOSS. BOSS obviously changed names for a reason. Slide= Pain in the A** Line. "Perfect" ratio and invitation only events. "Manor West"=BOSS! I understand the desire to create an aura of exclusivity. I regularly pay top dollar for bottle service at XS, Tryst... But for real, You guys are just disrespectful. MANOR WEST THANKS FOR BURNING THE BETTER PART OF A SATURDAY NIGHT AND THE CAB FARE TO AND FROM THE MARINA. EVEN MORE, THANKS FOR SHOWING YOUR CLASS. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT A WHOLE NIGHT IN YOUR VENUE WOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE.
