by Boyd Arking on took a party bus and went down there on a Friday night. We arrived around midnight, I was surprised the line wasnt that long around that time, had no trouble getting in. (well, we were with promoters for that club, made it a bit easier) The club is nice, there are 2 rooms and 1 huge outdoor patio, drinks are expensive! =( a friend paid $40 for 1 drink and 2 shots! no bueno, i suggest prepartying before you get there =) took 1 star off...the bathroom line was ridiculous!!! i hate the location of it too, they should have it near the back, not in the middle of the club across from the dance floor! lol doing the peepee dance is not cute. hahaha Good experience and good times with friends. Will definitely visit again soon! hot dog cart after the club and denny's across the street to sober up. FYI! =)
by Valentine Rhinebolt on I LOVE YOU. No it's not the alcohol talking. I didn't have beer-goggles on. I just plain, flat-out, am head-over-heels, in love with you. Date whisked me into this intimate joint after a night of salsa dancing. What a way to come down with a nightcap. We sat near the piano as a duet keyed away in song. It didn't hurt that my date found the tiger inside (not ruling out alcohol consumption) to push the duet aside and serenade me. NOTE: Women will put out for this. Scene: Eclectic. A LOT of men... interested in other men. A great date spot. A chill lounge for a cocktails and piano tunes.
by Alex L. on Oh to be home again. I love this place even when the music is bad and all the yuppies flock to the city because the weather is nice. Cheap beers for your poor nights and the good stuff for special occasions. They have the resident DJs and there are guest DJ frequently. The Staff rocks and will help you with getting drunk, getting that drunk person away from you and pouring you into a cab when you are ready to go. The patrons vary from night to night from all walks of life, and places. Lots of foreigners if you like that sort of thing, which I do, frequent the Q. I think they may charge on the weekends, but Wednesday nights are free. If you like to go to a place and do your Elaine dance, go noone cares, you won't be looked at funny but you might find a date. Things to know when you go: 1. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!!!!! 2. When it's cold they have a coat check 3. When it rains where closed toe shoes, it's built underground and Lake Q is gross 4. If you act like an ASS they will throw YOU out, RESPECT THE Q! 5. There is a back bar in the smaller room, if the line is long 6. All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy
