I had an amazing time dancing away at The Endup for about 2 hours straight one night two months ago when I didn't want the party to stop after Ruby Skye had closed. I don't know who the dj was but he was amazing keeping a stream of high energy songs to dance to going seamlessly. The outside seating area was really nice and spacious. Lots of places to sit and relax if you needed a break from the dancing. Or if you want to dance outside you can do that too. ;) The cover charge seemed pretty steep though. $20. I wonder if it had been hiked up because the bar was closed and they couldn't sell alcohol anymore, or if the price had been the same all night. I was lucky to be with a guy who paid for me. I wouldn't have paid $20 after having already paid $18.18 to dance at Ruby Skye on the same night. i think that the price should have been lower because the dj wasn't well known, but that is just my opinon. I suppose you are paying for the opporunity to keep on dacing when other places are closed (1015, Ruby Skye, etc) and to dance with other young sexy people in the city. I would like to go back sometime and start my night at The Endup instead of ending it there but only if the cover is less than $20. Oh yea, and I got a kick out of telling people that "I ended up at the Endup" the next day.

I took a group of friends (not from the Bay Area) to Bootie last night (2-20-10) and we had a blast. We arrived a little before 1am. There was no line and the cover was $12. The music was great and we danced until 3am! I love the music and I love the layout of the club. There is a second floor where you can view the whole dance floor from above and a separate room that played trance type music. There are side boxes that allowed people (girls and guys) dance on and the stage area was open for everyone to dance on, which I thought was very fun as well. Over all my friends and I had a great time and really enjoyed the music. The only negative thing I can say is that the bathroom was very dirty. I know it is hard to maintain but there was water (at least I hope it was water) all over the floor. Advice for the ladies- I was wearing 4 inch heels, be careful because the floor can be slippery.
