Went here for the first time tonight and I am still licking my lips (not in a weird, perverted way, but more of a "darn that bbq sauce was delish kind of way). When we first walked in, the heavy barbecue smell embraced us like an old friend welcoming us to her warm home. I ordered two apps to start, and was stoked with both of them. The strawberry salad was good, though not spectacular, and the mac and cheese was delectable. It had some heat, wasn't over cheesy, and had a tasty crunch on top. My flatmate had recommended the smoked tofu sandwich, which since I am a vegetarian, was pretty much my only choice. Luckily for me and my fellow veg buddies, the smoked tofu was AMAZING. I do not know how the chef was able to create such a flavorful tofu dish that actually had a good texture. I shared some with my carnivore friend, and she liked it as well. We didn't get dessert, which I now regret, because I was just too full. Did I mention the incredible, buttery, flaky biscuit that made me so happy? Incredible, seriously. I propose that Bruno's deserves five stars on its biscuits alone. I will be back, fo' sho', and I will probably aim for another week night. Good crowd.

Have you ever had food from Senegal? Me neither. But Little Baobab has me hooked. At first walking into the place I was a little bit weary... the kitchen is small (like the size of a bathroom small) and there was only one server working... all signs pointing to the likely possibility of having a not so great experience. However once I received my hibiscus margarita my mind was COMPLETELY changed. Even better was the food. The spices and seasonings used to cook the chicken dish I ordered were out of this world yummy. I practically licked my plate clean. Classy, eh? But it was just so good. So, SO good.
