by Ralph Palomarez on I was here for a private party. We had rented Ruby Skye, then the after hours party was at Slide. I was all excited the ride the fabled slide... I mean really, why else would you go here? It's basically a small basement area converted into a party cave. Sadly, the slide was closed.... REALLY? The only thing cool about this place, the namesake & it's CLOSED? We asked the bouncers (actually pleaded).... to ride the slide. Nope, they were set on a closed slide. If you head here (I was here on a Thursday night), I'd make sure it was going to be open first. Otherwise, there really isn't a reason to go. You may as well hit Ruby Skye next door. Better music, bigger bar & ample dance floor.
