I was in San Fran for a week and past by this bar several times before going in. The place seemed like a hole in the wall from the outside but I realized that it was pretty spacious once I walked in. They have a nice size bar, two pool tables in between a small stage and a good size outdoor patio in the back. From the local clientele to the staff this neighborhood bar was very friendly... We had such a good time we came back after dinner for more drinks. I'd definitely go back on my next trip to San Francisco.

Ohhhhh boy... Where do I begin... First off, I didn't know Friday night was asian night. Not that much of a problem since I'm well you know...ASIAN... Big problem when there's too many youngun 21 year olds crowding the outside with no one INSIDE.. Went for drinks for the homie's birthday. We had a cabana, and was promptly moved for other VIPs i guess. We got demoted to a non-cabana, smaller sofa seat. The inside dance area is pretty small and the downstairs restroom only fit 1 person at a time. No bueno. Did I forget to mention, it takes wayyyy longer to get to WeHo than regular Hollywood since we had to go around Wilshire AND Sta Monica Blvd... MANNNNN Only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because I was pretty crunk and the evening was well documented with hilarious photos. Oh yeah, valet was 10 bucks. Did I mention that we HAD to walk to the valet...AND Bossa Nova was closed by the time we got out?

I visited this venue for NYE '09 and had a great time! We ordered 2 bottles and had a table for the evening and everything was great! All of what other reviewers say is true including innovative lighting, highly lit dance-floor with dimly-lit surrounding areas, and lack of ventilation. The cast from The Hills graced us (I don't care for them), but the NY countdown was delayed about 5 minutes, and I heard it was because one of them was supposed to be the MC for those 10 seconds. All-in-all, it was a great time! A few points: 1. Get there earlier (10-10:30ish) to ensure entry (even with a table reservation) 2. Plan to spend a $150-200 per-person for a night 3. If you can, get a table...it'll only cost a little more, but you'll have a much better time! 4. Valet Park PS - I don't smoke, but they have a proprietary smoking patio which is nice for a breath of fresh air (you'll need it cause it gets hot inside) and you don't have to leave the venue and dodge bums and drunk club-goers. Cheers!
