I have had previous subpar experiences here but last night reinforced my instincts not to go back. The attitude is even worse now that the entrance is on 9th Avenue. I waited within arm's length of the door for half an hour while my two female friends waited inside by themselves. They were almost ready to leave. This is one of those clubs that will split your parties up to ensure the girls to go in first. The doormen then claim they'll let the guys in later. Yeah, I've heard that one before. The only reason I got in was because I was literally first in line. I am sure a lot of other guys weren't as lucky. When I finally got in for a "reduced" $15 cover on Saturday night, the dance floor was sparse at best. Plus, their tiny drinks were $14 each. Some music got us dancing but the song selection was erratic and didn't always finish before moving on, which can be frustrating. When it came time to leave, there are a million well-marked exits but only one "authorized" doorway which took us at least 10 minutes to find and getting yelled at by an employee. I'm sorry your management doesn't understand how to direct people! Yes, Hiro has hot girls and acrobatics. However, the dancers are so high up off the ground that it distracts from the people you should be paying attention to on the floor -- your friends. I have gone to more exclusive clubs than this and been treated far better. If you are a group of girls, then you may have fun, but if you plan to get a few drinks here then I would recommend getting a bottle elsewhere. I'm feeling generous, though, so I'll give two stars for being at least slightly better than Duvet.

If it wasn't for our welcoming and bubbly Ms. Jessica T., I would have walked right past the bar. Totally unassuming, it certainly doesn't shine from the street, but is surprisingly barrels of fun once you step inside, amusement park style! The double paned restroom window is a *trip*, and the photo-booth will make you feel like you're 12 years old all over again. Wheeee! Good times.
