by Alexia Keeble on Delux is a very 'sceney' late night bar/restaurant. I like their sweet potato fries, but I'm not a fan of much else there. The buns they use for their sandwiches/burgers are, in my opinion, of poor quality and texture. They need to use better bread/buns.
by Debbi Pakele on Bottom line: best club for sophisticated house heads in the city. No competition currently exists. Cielo has a rep for being all about the music, but it's more of a scene than that would suggest. Like, it's in the Meatpacking district for starters. So don't show up with your boys at midnight and even if you're with your girl, come around 11:30 to make sure you don't have to deal with the Man Who Plays God at the door. Best night is Wednesday, when Louie Vega usually plays and it's typically easy to get in. Worst night is Saturday when Plastic People flood the place. Friday isn't bad but watch the DJ list.
