i think this is the first bay area club to break a 3. This one is exceptional to me. First off there is no cover. I have heard of command and control with bouncers before. Apparently, if they ask you if you are on the guestlist, its game over, there is no list. Fret not, while parking, I saw 3 guys go in around 930. So early is the way to go if you didn't bring any girls with you. The crowd is more upscale, not wannabe pretentious either, lots of dancing and chatting going on. Bouncers do a good job of filtering the crowd. No sausage fest here. Music was a little older, like snoop dogg. They still played new stuff like lady gaga but it was awesome to bring it back. Lots of pop and hip hop that you could dance to, nothing too hyphy or ghetto. Bartender hooked it up. Always there and ready to get my drink fast. The staff closed the slide early but later in the night they opened it. They need one person at the top and one at the bottom to watch all us drunk folks. At closing time, I left my GF's jacket at coat check. The bouncer was nice enough to get it for me.

So I guess I'm one of those people who likes the Americanized Chinese food better than the real deal, because I didn't like the food here at all. The crab rangoons were these dry, flat, disappointing things. The food came in small portions and was very expensive for Chinese. Also, the place was deserted. Overall, I'd prefer to go to many other Chinese restaurants other than this one.

I am a huge fan of salt water aquariums and am proud to have the largest one in the world in my back yard. Everyone is very friendly that works there and they are quite knowledgable about the animals. The reef tank is definitely my favorite of them all followed by the Discovery Zone that allows you to get hands on. The Titanic attraction is very interesting and the movie is entertaining. Food is the only downfall.
