IT WAS A GOOD PLACE, TILL THE COCAINE SELLERS CAME IN. THE OWNER DAVID KNEW ABOUT IT. HE SOLD OUT. THANK GOD FOR THE STREET PREACHERS OUTSIDE

This club used to be awesome until 60 year olds and f*ed up ketamine ravers took it over. I know a lot of Dj's refuse to play here anymore because of it. No one wants to go to a club with stand still, holding on for life brain dead bump into you, spill your over priced wait for an hour drink, stagnate nutbags. It's embarrassing. I want a party, I want dancing and when John Digweed comes through I want people hanging from the banisters cheering him on and representing LA as it should. Try Vanguard down the street. It's where the ex-Avaloners go. Or Monday Night Social. Usually the DJ in town stays and plays Monday night... super intimate and good crowd. Oh I'd also like to point out that they stop serving drinks at 1.30 am, not 2am. Being that most DJs don't go on till 1 am or 2am this is an excellent formula for breeding speed drinkers, or a good time to pop some pills. if you can get into the Penthouse that's always good to hang out. Chat up the bouncers... works every time. All this aside I still go once very 6 months but ONLY for Sasha or John.

First off I would like to let everyone know that it's unacceptable to have to pay to get into any bar/lounge in San Francisco. VEGAS- yes, SF- no. That being said, I haven't paid to get into 330 ritch, because my friends know the owners or I've talked my way out of it. But I've definitely witnessed a few people's frustrations at the door. Girl:"but there are 6 girls here! You're really telling us you're making us pay 10 dollars each?! I don't understand!" Man at door: "Yes, it's 10$ at the door, even if you are all girls." Girl: (really upset and distraught) "Fine, you know what we'll take our money elsewhere and we won't come back or tell any of our friends to come here ever again." Man at door: (extremely unsympathetic) " I can offer you all half off, but that's it." Girl: "Alright, fine, how much?" I can imagine that this is a conversation that happens on a nightly basis here. It just baffles me that such a mediocre place can get away with charging people to get in. The music is never very good *(unless a special DJ is there), and the drinks aren't that great. I feel like there are so many better places in SOMA to go. ONE thing that I like, is that you can come here with a huge group and not be smashed inside, there is actually room to move around and get your groove on. Also- bottles aren't very much here and I'm pretty positive you get your own guest list so your friends won't have to pay to get in. But other then those two things, 330 ritch will always be a last resort.

hmmm... how do i start?.. asian invasion... the girl who's name is ashley? the girl who hooks up all the bottle service and is in charge of the guest list sucks. i not only talked to her to get a feel of the music they would be playing on friday (october3rd) night i emailed her a list of names to put on the guest list. so we get there... and every one's bitching that there names aren't on the guest list. Lo and Behold this girl didn't put any (more than 10) people's name on the guest list... GRRRR.... by the time we get there we are literally the only people in the place dancing. thankfully we were already perved and didn't mind the whack ass music they were playing. later in the night the girl who promotes and is the assistant to the owner of the club walks in and is trying to hand out flyers for the next night... so i asked... "what's your name?!" hoping it was the same girl i spoke with... and YES IT WAS! she apologized and said she got my email and sometimes the email between her and her boss's email doesn't work.... (right......) So she attempted to make up for it and gave me a free drink ticket. i probably won't be coming back here. nice place though. lots of chandeliers and an open dance floor... with no one occuping it....
