Bellinis, redbull vodkas, and vodka cranberry juice. I'm set, thanks. No sir, I do not want to go home with you. You want to talk upstairs? No, I'm good with my friends. I really don't want another drink, I don't care if you're paying. Yes I see your Louis Vuitton wallet, I don't care. Okay I'm going to leave the humid cave/dance floor and get some air. No, I don't want to sit in the nice lounge area with YOU. I'm going to go up with a friend. Ok go away now. Good. Goodbye. *Anyway...Good array of hip-hop/old school music, expensive drinks, no cover, and plenty of people on a Friday night. Perfectly dimmed down in the lounge/upstairs bar area so that EVERYONE looks good, drunk or not.

I just had an extremely memorable meal at Zahav. Looking at the menu, I was a little overwhelmed - everything looked fantastic! Our server was extremely helpful and guided us through the menu. We decided to go with the sampling menu which was $48/per person and included 5 courses. First course was some amazing hummus and homemade laffa bread. Next was 8 little salads - this was served in a small ramekins that were on a two layered cake stand thing. Next were 3 "mezzes" which you could either choose yourself or have them chosen for you. We decided to chose ours as I had been dying to try the fried cauliflower (sooo worth the hype) and then our server helped us pick out the crispy holumi which is a sheeps milk cheese that was fried and served with a fig like condiment (melted in your mouth) then we tried the house cured basturma - which was served with gorgeous tomatoes.... at this point, I was pretty ridiculously stuffed and wished I hadn't filled up with hummus and laffa bread. The main course we decided to go with the slow roasted lamb. The lamb was probably the most perfect lamb I have ever had - slow roasted over coals, it is not available on the a la carte menu. It was such a huge portion that seriously, there was enough left over for three meals! (We made baked eggs with it the next morning - yum!) And then last, but certainly not least came desert: a cashew baklava and a shredded filo dough and bittersweet chocolate contraption. All in all - I think it was a pretty amazing meal for $48 a person. I would definitely go back there again. The only reason why I am giving it 4 rather than 5 is that I thought it was a little heavy on the salt and I wish that the deserts blew me away like the rest of the meal!

I came here for an office holiday party so because I didn't have to spend any of my own money, I had fun! I played pool and bowled pathetically while listening to a bipolar mix of songs. This place is ok IF you like light up lounges and pseudo slutty waitresses and after work- loosen your tie-office sausage fest-drinking. I don't particularly, plus they charged $4 for a glass of water. The food is sub par as well, except the onion rings! Anyway, come if your boss is paying for drinks, otherwise, why would you ever want to party at a bowling alley????????
