by Klara Landram on The ambiance is great. The place is just as big as a large living room. By 11:30, its packed to capacity. Hardly any space to stand. Newer folks are generally asked to wait outside if the bar is already full. That perhaps is the only bummer. If you want to meet some decent crowd of desi/asian chicks, this is the place to be. The bar attenders were great. The drinks are a little expensive although they were nothing out of the ordinary. The bouncers were very friendly. If you want to avoid the cover charge of 5$, make sure you be there by around 10 on Saturdays. The other way would be to get to know the bouncers by name and by talking to them so that next time, a hug and a peck will take you in, even if you are standing in the end of the long line. (Girls, this is for you). This was my first time to Bob Bar and definitely wont be the last time. Boo-yah!!
