by Stephane Nasir on This past Friday was my 2nd time coming here and it only helped reconfirm how much I like it! Both times, they had combined Opera+Crimson, so that really helped make the scene more spacious. The wait time to get in is ridiculous. They do this to accomplish 2 goals: make the club look "poppin" and to encourage those frustrated to buy a bottle or two (which gets u in almost immediately). Bottle service is not cheap either!! My girlfriends and I chose to pay $20 cover each, instead of getting a $350-425 bottle service. The scene inside is very much lounge oriented. Lots of seating area (if you got bottle service). I love the plush covered walls on opera's side. It really added some character to the place. The scene is very much lounge-style oriented. Of course, they are usually reserved for groups that bought bottle service. Granted, the dance floor isn't one of largest, but you can pretty much dance anywhere besides the dance floor. The only things that bugged me was how the DJs mixed. Every song that I loved was only played for a snippet. Almost as if all the DJs had in his collection was just samples that lasted no more than 30secs. That one thing that peeved me (other than the wait outside). All in all, once you get in and get some drinks in you, you and your girlfriends will have a blast! Definitely looking forward to next time. Let's just hope the line moves faster and the DJ works his mixes right.
