Love the Abbey!! My friends and I love going here especially since us girls have fun dancing to the music while the boys lay back and shoot some pool. They have a full bar which is always a plus and great music by their house DJ or on other nights they have live bands. Definitely a great bar & fabulous service!

So, here's the thing.... After hitting up The Nook for a little rateclubsfest, my partner in crime for the evening suggested eggs, if you mention eggs around me, I don't care if we have to drive all night to find a Denny's alternative, I'm going to have tasty delish eggs in my tummy before the evening is over. So, being lateish we head to The Majestic, posted up at a vinyl booth and perused the menu. Our adorable hipster waiter(dressed in amazing yellow patent leather AF1's) came and answered my Q's about the veggie burger and then we made our hasty grumbly tummy decisions. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich, with cheddar, I had to specify NO AMERICAN CHEESE(wtf is "American" cheese anyway, its not real cheese and I don't like it), and cheese fries, I think I was on a cheese kick. My PIC ordered a bacon and cheese omelet. Our food came up super speedylike, my sammie was great, I added mayo and lettuce and then I KILLED it, the bread was toasted, the egg was cooked well, not too much cheese, the right egg to bread ratio. I was seriously salivating when I saw the bacon omelet, it was like they wrapped a thin layer of egg around 4 whole slices of perfectly cooked bacon and covered it in cheese, The Majestic is serious about bacon. I had to live vicariously through my compatriot on the bacon front, but he was hugely satisfied with his baco-licious decision.

Cool decor - way over priced drinks ($11 for a tokyo tea). It's sort of trying to be New York but us San Franciscans aren't used to the huge prices unless there's some hip crowd and I don't see the the crowd so...
