just went there last night - it was my first time. some of the others in my group had been there a couple times. The Good ... - yummy calamari and fish tacos - tasty $2 kamikaze drink: part of the $drink special. they also had $4 well, $3 beers, & $5 Wines - super easy to find a seat/table - it wasn't too busy. - great prices on the small plates: 2 for 1 small plates The Bad ... - our server was also the bartender, so it was extremely hard to get another drink or small plate. - the server kept taking away unfinished plates and drinks. and then forgetting to take our next order. - hummus was bland and there wasn't enough dishes for vegetarians - the chef had to add a salad to the menu for us. we had high hopes for the tuesday night happy hour, but 6 out of 6 people at my table decided they would never go back there. we weren't impressed with the food or service.... sad but true.

yeah, i'm always w/people that have a table, yeah, the musics pretty good & people actually dance. but for some reason i cant get with this place. i've never had a problem getting in or anything, but for some reason or another this place does not do it for me. i guess the door is sposed to be hard, and i saw them turning away lindsay lohan on my way in while she blabbered that she "just had a party there 2 weeks ago" & the doorman told her he was "just doin his job", not that shes a major star, but her names pretty familiar to the masses (insert the poor girls mini-nervous breakdown here). i have nothing good or bad to say about this place. if you go, cool, and if not, trust me, you arent missing anything

My wife and I had a wonderful evening at Prana on a Saturday. We strolled there from Metreon after a movie (couldn't resist a quick drink at Thirsty Bear on the way!). We were immediately seated at a comfortable white booth and admired the cool blue colors highlighting the dramatic white interior. The server and bus staff were very attentive and friendly, taking our coats, offering us drinks and bringing fried wontons with a variety of sauces. The cuisine was an interesting fusion with a few standouts - mixed greens had a wonderful dressing, and the pepper steak was a delicious piece of beef, nestled on a bed of piquant greens and accompanied with dark purple fingerlings. Other items were tasty, too. We tried the Saag Paneer Ravioli and Short Rib Potstickers. And they had my favorite beer -- Big Daddy IPA! It was a romantic setting for dinner, and then we strolled downstairs to dance all the calories away (well, some of them) in the attractive nightclub below (without paying any additional cover charges). A great evening.
