Here's my rant and rave: I've been here twice. I fell in love the first time (most of it), and the second time left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth. The first time I came was with two other lady friends. We there around 12:30 easily. No cover no problems. We went straight to the bar and I bought us the first round of drinks. $47 for 3 vodka tonics. Yikes! But I let it slide...it's Miami. Thankfully we're girls; that comes in handy...Anyways, the decor and the vibe is exactly what I would expect to see in South Beach. Great place to people watch. Filled with lots of beautiful people- dancing and having a great time-the dancers are so gorgeous compared to the ones we see at clubs back home in Chicago. I swear people had to be doing lines of something because everyone was just so freakin happy. The guy to girl ratio is about 1:8. Great great great music. In Chicago everything is hip-hop,. It was nice to have some legit house music for a change. Sharam was spinning when we came the first night. Such a great night. The second time I went to Set was with the same two girls, and three of my cousins, who are boys, that happened to be in SoBe the same time we were. There was an incident that greatly changed my opinion on the place. The two cuzzos that were not dress as 'flashy' as the other one were denied entry because "they don't look 21 and their ID's would not scan." Whadda a bunch of BS!

This could be the most awesome event if: 1) They should only allow about 60-70% of the people in that they do allow - too many people make it impossible to actually dance bhangra...no room to move your arms or legs. 2) They had some kind of AC - it's simply too hot and sweaty - absurdly hot and sweaty 3) It wasn't quite so expensive If those things were changed, this would get a 5 from me. Music and dancing is AWESOME and the crowd wasn't bad, although some of the guys there were a little aggressive.
