by Meg N. on I went for a birthday party so I wasn't paying- so that is a contributing factor in my rating. But as far as bowling alleys go it was nice. Big screens at the end of the lanes, comfy benches around the lanes, and waitresses who come to your lanes to take your orders. The manager who greeted our party was very friendly and accommodating. Our waitress could not have been less interested in serving us drinks and didn't even seem to be sure what was on the menu. The drinks were ok. Strong but just average. Would I have paid $12-15 bucks for martinis and other concoctions on my own there? No way. But as it was included in the party we all indulged and had a good time! Surprisingly my bowling score improved 3 martinis in!
by Miyoko Briggerman on Dig this. Of all the places to which I've been denied entrance based on my sneakers, this one featured the most amicable and well humored bouncer. At least the man knew when to thrown down the compliments to a sick pair of kicks. Put that one in the bank!
