by Tasha S. on So once again my friends and I are down in the MD hopping around on a Saturday night. Nothing seemed to fit our feel and we were starting to get a lil frustrated. On our way to check out how Park was after Gansevoort and Maritime, we passed 1 Oak. We walked up to the door, no line was there, but it took a minute for the guy to notice us. We looked at eachother confused as if to say "What, we're not cute enough?" With in a second after looking at my friends up and down myself he says to the bouncer "They're good" and he lifted the velvet rope. 'Thats what I thought". (No I didn't really say that) Inside is nice. Dim lit, love the murals on the wall. Kind of Where the Wild things are esq. Everyone in there was beautiful. No lie when they say there are more models than regular people. Speaking of models, while at the bar with my girlfriend ordering a round of lemon drop shots, i completely zoned out while she was trying to get my attention. Who did i see? I fine mofo named Tyson Bedford *lick of lips* "Tash! snap out of it!" Now we've met before but tonight he came with a "date". Hmmph. (ok I was jealous) But you get the idea of the crowd now. The DJ was great. Definetly a spot to go to if you want to be seen and genuinely have a good time. Everyone is dancing and the staff was nice. I heard Tuesday nights are great.

I am not sure what was going on but i really disliked the fact that all the dumb hoes in the vip area thought they had to run into you every chance they got!!! i mean really come on im standing right here!!! walk around or let me know your comming by. dont just push me out the way. after the 5th chick i was ready to throw bows at the next person to walk into me. well it gets better...i wasnt feeling so good to begin with so i sat down by the stage. these two chicks kept getting closer and closer until they were standing over me... well at that point i had to say something...but the night gets better..... some random ass dude rubbed my head!!!!! wtf!!!!! i really dont want to go back there again... i probly wont unless i have to.
