by Carina Salonek on This place was recommended by co-workers. It is a fusion Asian restaurant. We all had different things. I tried some tuna melt that was ok. We had french onion soup dumplings, shoe string frys and sate skewers. I had the french onion soup dumplings and they were meh but the fries were pretty good, not great. My rad na Thai chicken salad dish was HUGE. I think this place could go down in price and also serve smaller portions because I am still eating my leftovers a few days later. The decor is stellar and the wait staff was stellar to say the least. They supposedly have roof top service at night and I heard it is a happenenig place. Need to make it there and report.
by Evangeline Buttitta on Went for the first time and will definitely be back. Just around the corner, neighborhood place with style and sass. The food was great, service was awesome (quiet possibly in the top quartile of my own personal experiences), and the ambiance perfect. We had no reservation, just walked in, but upon telling the hostess that we lived just around the corner and were new to the city we were accommodated and seated right away. Thanks so much!
by Lorne C. on Cafe Circa is hopefully a diamond in the dust, and I think has the potential to become one of my favorites in the city. My dining group of 6 had one of our monthly dinners last Friday (though the last dinner was months ago). Our overall experience was good/very good, albeit a few problems. It is certainly a place I will go to again and see how they grow. My first compliment goes to the hostess. We were late on our reservation (almost 30 mins) and the hostess still accommodated us when we all arrived. I really do appreciate the extra effort. Our visit also coincided with Restaurant Week. **Sorry need to finish review tonight"
