by Cherish H. on Met up with some of my girls' friends here. We got in pretty quickly because they waited in line for us :) Love. R and I LOVED how it was so cool inside, they definitely have some amazing ventilation going on. Even when we were dancing and squished between people trying to get to the bar, we weren't drenched in sweat like we are in LA, and the humidity was kept low which = no nappy hair. Nice. Only bad part was I SWEAR the back dance room was so so loud. My ears hurt badly when I first walked in. And I think I have not fully regained my hearing since then. Despite the fact that if I continue going here, I will need a hearing aid by age 40, I still would go back again Co-ed bathrooms. Why? Who knows. Oh, and we went on Asian-night I think, so there was the ever present club-fight that occurred. Lame.
by Siu Pistole on Nothing at Genki stood out as great, but it's certainly not the worst sushi I've had in town. The food doesn't come anywhere close to screaming anything authentic Japanese (having traveled to Japan recently and eating some real ramen noodles). The cost was for sure unreasonable for the quality of the food, but we received good and friendly service. I won't be taking a second trip to Genki.
