LOWER YOUR PRICES ... SF Taco boutiques need to check themselves. mind the prices, and try strawberry fresca and pescado (plain) tacos! the carnitas and carne asada is also very good. don't let them sell you the "nick's way" it'll cost you extra, and it never fails...they ALWAYS ask. i'm starting to see a theme here. oh, and bring cash (only), a lot of it. zing.

FAQ: Is the crowd diverse? No. Is it expensive? What in LA isn't? Will I have fun? I don't know, are you a pretentious prick who is a complete downer? Is the ratio that bad? From my experience, it was an equal mix. All the girls are dancing (LOTs of them... in skanky gear too) and all the guys are watching. Do I have to wait? Maybe...befriend a promoter = best thing you can ever do. Or have a vagina and a pair of boobs. My advice: + Go with a good group of friends and let loose! + If you're a guy going with all guys, your intentions are probably not great so you deserve every bit of inhospitality! + If you're a girl going with all girls, you will feel like the hottest shit here even if you ug-lay. + Know a promoter. - My friend forgot her credit card at the bar (she was uber wasted) and some fool stole it and used it at some Chinese restaurant. - Bathrooms are icky.

As far as a great bar atmosphere, this place is one of the best in the city. I don't think that there is one single place in the city that I would rather be on a hot day at sunset. So beautiful and refreshing are watching the sun go down with a bucket of Corona's. Especially after a long day of work. I'd like to demote it two stars for a really unappealing menu of garbage but after all this is a bar. I will say that if you are going to pay $10 for 20 mussels, half of them shouldn't be bad and you should get some bread. But I love this place and if its good enough for the rejects of this seasons Project Runway, its good enough for me.
