Thursdays for 1984, Club Gossip one Saturday a month, and Temptation one friday of the month are all great. Good DJs, great music, strong drinks, and smoking patio make it a favorite of mine.

I've now been to this venue a couple different times (maybe three, but I can't remember). First time was a Kontrol Minimal Techno party featuring Adultnapper, Mr. C and Dollz. This party alone is what warrants the five. The best sound I've heard in San Francisco and 95% of all club nights I've been to including several in the midwest. The layout is very convenient with the bathrooms very close to the bar and dancefloor. The dancefloor is laid out horizontally to the stage and bar and is wider than it is long. I'm a big fan of the horizontal layout in comparison to a dancefloor like the End Up which is completely vertical. The staff was not too bad and fairly responsive. I say this because I don't believe there is what I would call a "nice" bartender in most big cities. The visuals were pretty decent and were synced up with the music (as expected). Now here's the best part......they had a huge tour bus parked on the street just outside of the club where the fenced in smoking area is. They had another dj spinning outside and the sound was just as superb. The vibe was really chill throughout and the music went late. I have gone back to see Tiefschwarz which was fairly lame because the crowd was not as informed or chill and the sound was inferior. Not really the fault of the club per say. So if you are looking for an unpretentious club that focuses more on music than the shiny shirted Larrys, I'd highly recommend!

This is the 'Ntouch of the new millennium catering to Asian bois and their admirers-be it sticky or rice queens. I have been here a couple of times and I hate the music that they play. Everytime I go upstairs, the hiphop DJ plays the same freaking songs over and over again. I guess it's a preset CD or something. And then downstairs I get sick with all the cheesy disco tunes that the deejay plays. OK I got it alot of people like listening to crap. Also, I hope somebody tells the owner to take down the cheapy decor and get rid of the nelly looking go-go boys. I mean we all know that we are in a gay bar right? But is there really a need to shove it on our faces? Although I have to admit they have a handful of hot bartenders. And the owners seems pretty cool too.
