by Cody Geibel on It is with great pleasure that I am writing this, my first Rateclub review, to commend Rhia S. for making the start of my 3rd decade on planet earth memorable. One random night, I think it was a Tuesday, my best friend Connie convinced me to drag myself out of bed and go with her to Le Club. Being that my best friend is a wine rep it is apart of her job to go out and drink. From time to time I go with her. On this night we made our way to Nob Hill walked into Le Club and were greeted by a friendly bartender named Cassidy, who I actually owe a hug thank you because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be writing this review. BTW -Cassidy is ahhmazing!!! He has a lot of style, can make killer cocktails and is an all around awesome individual. Completely a sweetie but, I digress. This review is about Rhia...but, I must say Cassidy is the coolest bartender I have meet in a really long time. So... a tag along night with my girlfriend turned out to be a wonderful break in my otherwise dull work week. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the company of Cassidy and great drinks. As we sauntered out, being graciously led by Cassidy I said, "Dude, I am turning 30 in a couple of weeks, do you know where I could have a kick ass party?" He said, "You can throw it here, my girl Rhia will totally hook you up." To that I said "for sure", grabbed a card and made up my mind to consider Le Club as a place to host my birthday party." I called Rhia a few days later and mentioned that Cassidy recommended I talk to her about throwing my party at Le Club. We discussed a few details, cost availability etc. By the end of our initial conversation I felt excited and confident that this was the place where I would celebrate my 30th b-day. The decision was based on Rhia's warm, professional and friendly attitude. I booked the billiard room, sheepishly asked her if she could help with decorations and was blown away by her response, which was something like, "Of course, we can do whatever you want, we can even create a signature cocktail for your night." Rhia did everything beautifully! Within a week and a half via about 2 phone calls, half a dozen emails, and some iphotos my dream party was actually coming to fruition. I told her what kind of look and feel I wanted, colors, flowers, balloons, pillows, candles and she ran with it. I literally had to do nothing other than tell her what I wanted. No stress, no running around, coordinating, nothing! I had no idea what to expect until the night of my party. I walked into the billiard room and my jaw dropped. Everything was perfect! An absolute dream. As I said in the beginning, this is my first and maybe my last review, but I had to do it, I wanted to do it. If anyone is looking for a great place to throw a one of a kind private party with the help of an exuberant planner I highly recommend contacting Rhia S. at Le Club. She is the best! I will forever remember what a fantastic job she did in creating a landmark birthday party for me. She truly went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations. Muah!!! Love you!
by Jason D. on Dinner summary: poor service, very small portions and a massive bill. The prefix "dinner" was two minuscule plates -- well flavored red meat and very overcooked fish, and a scoop of gelato. Each one was about two bites. Service was poor -- our unfriendly waiter often disappeared for long periods, and flatly refused to bring bread to the table. The server who delivered the food had dirty fingernails, was visibly shaking and almost dropped the food on us. The music was far too loud -- it was impossible to carry on a dinner conversation without shouting, and the next day our ears were ringing. The biggest shock was the bill. For "dinner" and two of the least expensive "house drinks" the total was over $80/person. We left hungry and disappointed- -Jason
by Marcellus Pola on This spot is officially my favorite dance bar. DJ's are the only thing this place is lacking. Great Bartenders and Staff. Fun Crowd althought not usually the attractive bunch. A cool place to go if you just wanna dance and get your groove on.
